Your firm was just retained by a fiduciary of an Estate/Trust. The Will includes charitable bequests. Now What?

Learn what your firm needs to do next when it comes to charitable bequests and the Attorney General’s Office, as well as what needs to be reviewed by the OAG at the end when it’s time to close the estate. Belynda K. Zigrest, legal assistant at NYS Office of the Attorney General Charities Bureau and Assistant Attorney General Nathan Courtney will provide a general overview of the Charities Bureau and the statutes that give the Bureau oversight; what estate documents the AG needs at the beginning and at the time of accounting, as well as some tips to keep from having to revise your accounting.
